Whenever someone compliments me on my rings, I automatically think they are talking about my wedding rings, but 99.9% of the time they are complimenting my other hand, which has 3 tiny rings on it. They are small, but eye catching. They are Jennifer Meyer thin, gold rings, each with a different gemstone. I have the ruby, sapphire and emerald. I re-sized the ruby and sapphire and stack them on my right ring finger and have the emerald on my middle finger. They look great stacked or just worn on their own. From far away they just look like thin gold bands, but up close you see the tiny gem. They are so effortless and beautiful at the same time. They are simple enough that I wear them everyday and never take them off.
I received each of them as special gifts, so I may be biased in loving them so much. The first, the ruby, was given to me as my engagement ring. My husband got it as a placeholder, since he knew I wanted to find a vintage ring at a favorite store of mine Erie Basin (that store deserves a whole different post!). The sapphire and emerald were given as an anniversary gift and birthday gift, so they feel like our history on my hand. I'm hoping the tradition continues with the diamond, turquoise and black diamond rings (subtle hint!).
I also think they would be a great gift for a new mom, if one of the gems Meyer carries is the baby's birthstone. I wish she would come out with more, like opal and amethyst. You can buy them at Barneys, Shopbop or a set of 5 from Net-A-Porter.
